Yevgeny Kondrachenko.

Grandmaster.

I consider the program EDEON one of the best draughts-64 programs in existence, with enormous capabilities.

It matters greatly that Edeon includes the theory of flying draughts and an opening database built on the superbase of books — nothing comparable exists anywhere in the world yet.

I like the good, convenient and varied analysis in Edeon. In the field of the endgame, Edeon takes first place in my opinion: only in Edeon does the concrete result of every move become immediately visible in 5-against-5 positions and in many 6-against-6 positions.

It is also worth noting the following about all the Edeon trainers:

1. Ideal conditions for training.

2. The originality and practical usefulness of the two-board idea for training calculation.

3. Every position in the trainers comes with written commentary.

4. Varied statistics for checking the quality and the results of your training.

Thank you to the programmers of EDEONfor their enormous work.

Valery Grebenkin. World champion 1998

We obtained the programs mainly in order to judge whether they could be recommended to our coaches and athletes in Ukraine, in particular to visually impaired players, and how strong and capable they are. The analysis in EDEON is magnificent!

The opening trainers are good programs and are perfectly suitable for preparing a Master of Sports. And of course the EDEON software suite has enormous potential.

EDEON is a unique project in draughts; I have seen nothing like it.

It should also be noted that the program EDEON-Combi has a unique database of what is, as of today, ten thousand combinations, which both beginning players and top-class athletes can work through.

I believe in the program EDEON and in its very high potential.

It is very, very important that the program is alive — you can talk to its creators over Skype or by telephone.

Every success to you, programmers of EDEON.

Yuri Kirillov. Grandmaster of Russia.
For me the program EDEON is something new and interesting. Previously I used other draughts programs for analysis, but now I use EDEONas well, because it has an enormous endgame database and magnificent analysis, and evaluating any position takes only a few minutes. I am now re-analysing all the USSR championships and the draughts books from scratch, with the tandem of EDEON and TOSHA. Thank you to the developers for the program EDEON.
