In the same window, you can add or remove players (buttons «+», «=», «-»), view test results or change settings, as well as receive information about the program.
After selecting a player, the main program window appears with an unfinished test. If there is no test or it has already been passed, the program will offer to set up a new test.
If you check the box “Do not show this window when starting the program”, then the next time the program immediately loads the tests of the player who last used the program.
Having selected a player in this list, click «Finish.»

The main program window
Using the button (1) you can play a combination decision. At the same time, if in the settings it is set to “Show minor moves when showing the solution”, then, if there are minor moves,
the program will show all possible solutions, returning to the previous positions when showing.
If you press the button (1) without giving an answer, the program will understand that you have spied a solution and will mark the solution to this combination accordingly. Use buttons (2) and (3) to go to the previous and next combinations.
Between the buttons (1) and (2) the next combination number and their total number are displayed. By clicking in the area of the slider below, you can go to the combinations out of order.
You can set the number of combinations from 1 to 1000 or 2000, depending on the level.
After pressing the “Finish” button (4), the answer will be checked, and “Next” will appear on the button. This means that a second press on this button will place the next task on the left board.
If all the tasks are completed, then the word “Test” will appear on the button instead of “Next”. In this case, pressing the button will select a new test.
To peep the solution in the form of the final location, press the button (5). If there are several correct answers, the program will select one of them.
If the combination has comments, they are written in the field (6).
The line “Player” (7) contains the name of the current player. To change the player, press the button (9), which will call up the “List of players”. If you press the word “Player” itself, a menu will appear,
offering to perform additional actions.
The line «Test» (8) contains the type of the current test. To change the test, press the button (10), which will bring up the “Test selection window.” If you press the word “Test” itself, a menu will appear,
the first line of which (Test Setup) will call up the “Test Selection Window”, and the second line will offer to be tested for discharge. Also in this menu are saved “Test Settings”.
In the table “Results” (11), the results of the current testing are entered – the number of correct, erroneous and spied answers, as well as the accumulated score.
If the combination is viewed, but not answered, then it is considered to be missed. You can return to it using the buttons (2) and (3).
If testing is time-sensitive, then all combinations for which a response was not received within the allotted time period are considered an erroneous answer.
It should be borne in mind that if the combination was shown, then, when testing for time, the stopwatch that counts the time to solve this combination will not stop.
The lines “Total score” and “Player level” show the player’s score for the entire time of using the program and the level reached by him.
During testing, the time is written between buttons (3) and (4). Moreover, in the case of testing, taking into account the time, the clock goes in the reverse order, showing the remaining time for thinking.
Between the buttons (3) and (4) there is an arrow, clicking on which removes or shows the bottom of the window.
Window «Setting up the Test»
By pressing the button (1) in the menu that appears, you can select a discharge test or load previously saved settings.
If a player has several preferred settings, then they can be saved,
by clicking “Save” 8).
Then instead of filling in the fields, it will be enough to press the button (1) and select the desired test. Level (2) shows from which “Combination Library” the test will be compiled.
The field (3) sets the number of combinations in the test. This number cannot exceed the number of combinations in the corresponding library.
Therefore, entering too many numbers in this field and leaving it, the player will see the maximum possible amount, which corresponds to the volume of the library.
Answers in the test can be given by placing the final position on the right board or by moves on the left. The field (4) should indicate how the solution will be implemented.
It should be borne in mind that if you select the “arrangement”, then you can make moves on the left field during the decision, but the answer will be accepted only from the right field.
If you cannot make moves during testing, then select the “arrangement without walking” item.
You can select combinations (5) from the library randomly, or in order – a given number of combinations, starting with the specified one.
If the “Thinking time” field (6) is marked, a limited time will be allocated for solving one combination (if “for one task” is selected) or for the entire test (if “for all tasks” is selected).
The time in the field is entered in the form of hours: minutes: seconds.
Using item (7), you can disable the ability to spy on an answer. If the test is for a while, then you can install the ability to see the correct answer only after the test time.
Discharge testing has the following settings

- Combinations are randomly selected for 10 pieces from each third of the library and ordered from simple to complex. It is understood that the complexity of combinations in the library is increasing.

Testing
Testing is carried out in the main program window. On the left board, the next combination is set for the solution. The answer can be given by moves on the left board or by placing the end position on the right board. If the test is intended to give an answer only by moves or only by arrangement, then the program will allow you to act only in one of these ways.
The moves on the left board are carried out using the mouse pointer. There are several ways to make a move:
- press and do not release the left mouse button (with a pointer over a moving checker) and move the pointer to the target cell;
- press and release the left mouse button over the walking checker and then over the target cell;
- click and release the left mouse button over the target cell and if there is one move to this cell, then it will be made;
- if “Auto-starter” is set in the settings, and the selected checker has only one move, then it will be made immediately after choosing the checker;
- if “Autobot” is set in the settings, then if there is only one battle, it will be completed without the player’s actions;
- if in the settings both “Autostart” and “Autoboy” are set at the same time, then if there is only one move, it will be done automatically;
- if in the settings “Auto-move with black drafts” is set, then with the correct moves of the player, the program will make retaliatory moves for Black using the answer.
Positioning on the left board is performed using the mouse pointer. The placement method depends on the settings made.
For the program to check the answer, click the “Finish” button (4). After that, the result will be written to the right of the button and the program will offer to go to the next combination.

General Settings
The “Player” field is used to change the name and password of the player. The results of its testing and settings are not changed.
“Show comments” – if the item is not checked, then existing comments on the combinations will not be shown.
“Remember password” – if the item is checked, the program will ask for the password only once, otherwise – each time it is required.
“Show time” – if testing is not taking into account time and the check box for this parameter is unchecked, the program will not show the time spent on the solution.
“Show tests in a circle” – if this item is checked, then from the last combination the program will go to the first and vice versa when you click on the buttons to go to the next or previous tests.
The test history, which can be viewed in the window with the results, will be stored for the specified number of days.
Appearance
Using this window, the appearance of the board, font and colors are obviously set.
Checker moves
“Time to move” – the delay between moves when showing a solution.
«Time to move with a checker» – a delay before each movement of a checker while walking.
“Motor vehicle” – if a checker has only one move, it will be made immediately after choosing a checker.
“Autobot” – in the presence of a single battle, it will be completed without the player’s actions.
If the items «Autoboy» and «Motor vehicle» are not marked, then the corresponding movements of the checkers are carried out manually. If both points are checked, then all single moves are performed automatically.
“Motor vehicle with enemy checkers” – if the player moves correctly, the program will make moves for the opposite color using the answer.
“Highlight the path of the last move” – if the item is marked, the path of the last move remains on the board until the start of a new move.
«Highlight the path during the course» – if the item is marked, then the path of the checker’s course appears on the board.
“Show minor moves when showing a solution” – if there are secondary moves, the program will show all possible solutions, returning to the previous positions when showing.
Checkers arrangement
There are several ways to arrange checkers on the board. Having chosen the method number, you can read its description and check on the probe how it works.
If “Done – by clicking on the white square” is marked, then instead of clicking on the “Finish” button, you can click on the white square. Caution! When arranging the answer, you can accidentally get into a white cell and the program will count the error.
About the combination library
The Combi +2 program works with combinations collected in the library. This library consists of 7 parts of the following levels:
Grandmaster
Master of Sport
Master candidate
1 adult
2 adults
1 junior category
Youth
In the «About the program» window you can see the number of combinations in each level of the library.
In the free version of the library, each level contains 5 combinations.
About registration
Registration data is required when purchasing a combination library.
Using the Name and Code, we create the Key and close it with the ordered library, which we send to you. In this case, the code can be attached to a hard drive or flash drive. To do this, in the Disk field, specify the letter of the corresponding disk.
The algorithm for creating a file with data for registering a program and a library of combinations:
1. Run the program.
2. In the main window or in the player list window, select About.
3. In the «About program» window that opens, create registration data, that is, enter any Name and specify a binding disk.
4. Save the registration data in a file and send us this file. Instead of a file with registration data, you can tell us the Name and Code.
After that, we compile the combination library you purchased and send it to you. For the program to see this library, select the Connect item in the «About the program» window and select this library.
